Charlotte Cronk has been active in ministry work in South Africa for over 25 years.

Love One Another Minsistries

She and her husband Marvin arrived in Denver, Colorado USA, November 20rd, 2010 from South Africa for an anticipated holiday visit with her son and daughter in law and grandchildren. Prior to Christmas 2010, she was diagnosed with uterine cancer and scheduled for a total hysterectomy surgery Jan. 12th, 2010. She was admitted to the hospital January 10th.

Surgery was successful, cancer was contained and eliminated and lab results came back good. That was our first miracle. However complications from the surgery recovery and rehab resulted in 7 months and 5 days of total hospitalization. This includes 3 hospitals, 1 long term acute care hospital, 2 rehab centers, 4 ICU’s, 14 ambulance rides, multiple MRI’s and CT Scans, and 3 near death experiences.

The medical staff was not optimistic that she would fully recover as we found out later, but we are here to tell you, through the power of prayer and our stand of what the word of God says, the support of family and friends who became her patient advocate and the use of modern medicine, she is today, a walking miracle and testament to our living God! She has returned back to South Africa better than she came, exactly one year later.

Charlotte survived surgery, kidney failure, numerous aggressive and staff infections, poor medical care and cleaning at some medical facilities, hallucinations, disorientations, blood transfusions, massive internal bleeding, deprived oxygen and high CO2 levels, months of expelled blood, catheter, rectal tube, feeding tube, bi-pap mask, low protein levels, malnutrition, wounds that would not heal from the surgical incision, respiratory failure and tracheotomy,

the long process of weaning off the ventilator and life support, months of non verbal communication, another surgery to open the wound and remove scar tissue, some memory loss, and an aggressive rehab and physical therapy schedule to get her back on her feet again.

We experienced several God given miracles along the way. Two days after surgery the kidneys were still in shock and not functioning and they were scheduled to put her on dialysis on the third day. By the time the kidney specialist was summoned and arrived, the kidneys had totally returned to normal. He looked at the chart and said, “her kidneys seem fine to me, why did you call me?” No one can underestimate the power of prayer and our authority in Christ! The fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much!

Charlotte returned to two of the medical facilities to say “thank you” prior to her return to South Africa.

Charlotte Walking

When she did, she turned the hospital upside down! Nurses, CNA’s, and doctors came from everywhere on the floor to greet her and to see her walk down the hall. Cell phones and cameras were flashing and everyone was taking photos of the patient that they had nearly given up on. The Administrator of the hospital and the joint commission representative of Medicare Insurance in the United States who happened to be there at the time, are writing the story of Charlotte’s recovery. Charlotte would only give consent for her story to be written on one condition, and that is, the writers would give glory to God.
The family and our friends in the United States, South Africa, and other parts of the world, committed time in prayer to see a miracle as they stood on a word from the Lord that she would survive. We believed that she would return better than she left, and that she would walk out of the hospital. She certainly did! Charlotte Cronk is a walking miracle of the and now back in South Africa and doing well.

We truly give all glory to our God who is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
