Kate Ogg an Australian mother was told by doctors that her son Jamie was declared dead after 20 minutes of battling to get him to breathe. She did not accept it and told her lifeless son – born at 27 weeks weighing 900 grams, how much she loved him and cuddled him tightly, not wanting to let him go.
Having given up on him, she unwrapped him from his blanket and held him against her skin. An extraodinary thing happened. After two hours of being hugged, touched and spoken to by his mother, the little boy began showing signs of life.
