The 100,000 Homes Campaign is a national movement of over 230 communities working together to find and house 100,000 vulnerable and chronically homeless individuals and families by July of 2014. We are an initiative of Community Solutions, based in New York City.
To transform America’s response to homelessness, we believe every community must:
• Hit the streets proactively to identify everyone experiencing homelessness by name
• Get local agencies and organizations working together to develop a simple and effective housing system that can help anyone escape the streets quickly
• Track how many vulnerable and chronically homeless residents move into permanent housing each month and increase this number consistently over time
• Share successful innovations with other communities so we can all cross the finish line together
